If we as a society actually learned from past mistakes, eliminated greed, power, fame, wealth, anger, resentment, competition, envy, illness, profit and violence from our daily lives in an effort to better our experience here on earth what would it look like?
What would life be like, how would it feel? How would we transform from our current disastrous way of life? What would we gain& what would we lose, would it be worth the effort and most importantly would it work? Lets take a closer look.
By past civilizations that were amazing, that had created amazing cities, roads, plumbing, libraries many of which are still used and copied to this day, all came down, great leaders brought down by war, corruption, violence, mutiny, and greed.
Starvation, poverty, homelessness, disease, crime, hate, racism, cheats, fear, prison, torture, religion, pornography, alcoholism, drug abuse all have been major problems for society, nothing has worked to date, something must be done and done soon.
The ever growing wasteful government, and it's distortion of the constitution, laws, rules, traditions, rights all steal our freedoms from us, those that are tying to stop the deterioration of our once great country are being hindered by the powers that be in many ways. One is they are in control of the media, they are in charge of what is being reported so everything they are doing is going unreported. It sucks and not enough people know about it, some don't care, some are being paid off to look the other way and some are murdered for their opposition.
The government must begin using the money they collect from payroll taxes, income taxes, and taxes on everything and everyone on the projects that are in the best interest of the country and the citizens of our country. Government officials must have term limits and when they are gone, so is the pay. Each of us that are qualified must be given an opportunity to serve so that it never becomes the elitist group of narrow minded, corrupt greed motivated idiots that are serving now.
We need to get the media as independent as possible, no more corporations owning the media and supporting political candidates. Pricing/profit/competition will have to be honest, rotating panels of investigators will oversee the businesses making sure that no monopolies, or unfair influence used to get or keep business successful. for instance: When cable companies came on the market in the 80s, they were selling this service as "commercial free", first fun movies, 24 hour television with no commercials. Well, someone decided that competition would not be good for them and it would be better if the cable companies split up the country and each had an area that they had, nobody else could compete in that area, well that is just bullshit and as soon as they got what they wanted, the quality of the service began to decline and the prices went up. Now we have horrible service, way too many commercials and we are still watching the same movies that they had at the beginning. Sure there are 300 stations but most are infomercials, repeats and crap programming that we have to pay for... now they have turned off the regular TV, ever wonder why??? I asked and was told it was so the cellular phones could have more airwaves. Who knows.
Then the lottery came along in Texas, the advertising was stating that ALL the money from the lottery would go to schools, there was a huge debate and promises were made and broken, as soon as the motion passed, the money went into the general fund, when asked, nobody had an answer, the only thing I heard is that yes the money has to go to the general fund but some of it was going to the school fund. It sucks that the Americans are conned and swindled by their own government over and over again.
There needs to be an alternative to "banks", they are out of control, I suggest that all of us remove our money from all of the banks and keep it in a safe place while we discover a better way to keep our money safe from thieves, pay our bills and make purchases.
There needs to be an alternative to the credit reporting services, far too much private information is collected, sold and profited from and they don't care if it is accurate.
Too many of our jobs are leaving the country, other countries will not allow American food into their countries. The genetic modification in food should be tested much longer and should be a choice not something snuck into our grocery stores without knowing if the stuff is safe. We have to go back and create jobs and products here, it is insanity and self destructive allowing these crooked company owners to use third world companies to assemble, create, produce our items, using child labor, slave camps in harsh conditions so that they can reap huge profits, still charging outrageous prices.
The water, air and soil is being polluted by corporations that pay off the officials, that look the other way, or change the laws to allow them to dump metric tons of poisons into our lakes, rivers and oceans while the media screams out that
BBQing or putting weed killer on our lawns is causing the fish to mutate blaming the homeowners and forcing them to pay more for research to see how bad things really are. The entire system is broken and must be fixed.
I guess I will start with children, beginning at kindergarten, teach the children how to do things that will help them survive, teach them manners, rules, laws, communication, nutrition, ethics, treating people with respect, self pride, pride of family, community and country. Teaching respect for parents, each other, other peoples property, yet at the same time the to speak up when things are wrong.
Begin exploring interests in careers, skill testing and teaching. Children would wear uniforms for school, recreation and real life work experience. All toys, bikes and games would be standardized, given out on a point system or by age and passed down to the next group behind them. A strong value of taking care of that item will be taught to everyone so that when they get the item it will be in very good condition and when they get ready to pass it down, they will make sure it is in good condition. Prestige and titles, designer names are getting children killed and brutalized, it has to stop.
Stopping here to address the people that want attention and will do anything to get it, including saying the opposite of what is logical, preferred and normal hoping for the shock affect, a class clown, is a label, yet it is one that describes that person, negative attention is just as good as positive attention to them, no matter how disruptive to the flow of things that behavior is. A counselor would be required to resolve the behavior, society would also be required to respond appropriately, not just ignore the bad behaviors. these people would be moved to a separate part of the society, not restricted, but not given the "stage" to spew their garbage.
Consistent education about bullying, clicks, honesty, ethics, kindness, acceptance or rejection starting at a very young age will prevent most of the problems that are destroying the generations of potentially great people. What would it be like if children were secure, supportive of each other? A kind, loving nurturing home and school will enforce superior upbringing of the children.
Wars, torture, prisons have all been studied and documented throughout time, we know what this does to society, we know it destroys families, distorts people and causes negative reactions. How can we design this society using all of the knowledge and experience from the beginning of mankind? Will it be boring? Are there people that are addicted to adrenaline? Can it work? Is corruption so wide spread that constant monitoring, trap setting, investigating and supervising will be required? So we have the basics set up, we have the society that shows we have learned by the past, we have designed programs to get and keep everything on track, fair, pleasant and rewarding.
The entire government must be revamped dropping all of the corruption, no more special interest groups, no more lobbyists, no more favors for friends, family and businesses. Term limits for congress, no lifetime salary, health insurance rewards, the rules are don't spend it. Everything must go through a vote, must be reasonable and fair. It needs to be against the law for any government representative to go to work for a company that they could do special favors for while in office.
Americans (legal citizens only above the age of 18) will have a code that they vote with. The vote will have to be verifiable, this can be done via the Internet and the us postal service.
Instead of sending millions of dollars to other countries, use the money to house and feed the homeless, care for the mentally ill (that are now just released into the streets without food, money, prescriptions or shelter), Care for the injured Veterans in a superior way, better benefits, health care, mental health care and support, any help they need should be available to them.
The FDA should be doing a much better job, stop the payoffs from the pharmaceutical companies and get them watching our food, crops, processed food and raise the standards, prevent the sneaky corrupt companies like Monsanto from putting
GMO foods in our stores, we need to have the best of the best, we suck now.
The legal system is just pathetic, if a company in Dallas can review 20 death row cases and find that 18 of them were innocent, proven by DNA, it shows that there is fraud, ego motivated, money motivated crimes against innocent people while the real criminals go free to kill again. A person shouldn't have to wait two years to get justice when they are scammed in a real estate deal, or robbed, raped, or worse. It shouldn't have to be that long. If child molesters, robbers, rapists, murderers,
scammers and other criminals are not let out, it would cut down on the case loads significantly.
If a person is video taped committing a crime, then why spend the money on a trial? They should be convicted on the evidence, not allowed an appeal, forced to do the time and not released early. This should not be a question, it is amazing how stupid it has all become.
If a person is sent to prison, they should be sent to a prison that has similar prisoners, if it is a violent crime, they should be surrounded by violent prisoners, etc.
All prisoners must have chips placed under their skin, tested for DNA and it run through a nationwide database. Child molesters should never be released. There is no valid reason why these people should ever be given the opportunity to violate again.
We need to get rid of the Federal Reserve now. We need to have the constitution read a loud daily, displayed in every government building, anyone that tries to change the constitution should be charged with treason.
Politicians that break their campaign promises should be easily removed from office and punished, any employee of the government that is caught giving special treatment for any type of compensation should be arrested and charged with treason and punished.
The system is so screwed up that it is depressing. So many greedy jerks have manipulated the government and the citizens to make money with no regard for the environment, the health of the people or the future. It happened because most people have been distracted, scared into their homes, over worked, taxed, stressed out, that they don't feel they have a moment to stand up and fight, or they did try to fight it and were audited by the IRS, or punished or found that all the letter writing, donating to organizations that say they want to fight the corruption, hasn't done a thing. Not a freaking thing...
How do you get some results? How many good honest people does it take to get the criminals to stop ripping us off and get some common sense back into our country?
I said i was going to describe the ideal life and I am going to, but felt I had to reveal the negatives first.
